Mr. Attaf attends Pope Francis' funeral

The minister of State, minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, attended Saturday, at St Peter's Square in the Vatican, the funeral of Pope Francis.

The funeral was held in the presence of a large crowd, with the participation of many leaders, representatives of states and heads of international governmental organisations.

Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf reiterated, to the representatives of the Vatican, the sincere condolences of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the death of Pope Francis, praising his humanitarian legacy through his dedication to the values of fraternity, mutual aid and coexistence among peoples and his commitment to the poor and the oppressed around the world.
