BIOGRAPHY of The Ambassador

Married and father of three children.

Diploma of National School of Administration – Diplomatic section in 1981.

He joined the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1983.

Before being appointed Ambassador of Algeria to Iran in December 2021, he served twice as studies and consolidation officer from 2001 to 2004 and from 2010 to 2021 at the Cabinet of the Minister of foreign Affairs, and he was his Chief Cabinet a.i from 2004-2005. After that, he was appointed Ambassador of Algeria in Jordan from 2005 to 2010.

Earlier in his career, he first worked as Secretary of Foreign Affairs and then as Counselor of foreign Affairs at the Algerian Embassy in Bonn from 1986 to 1990 and at the Embassy of Algeria in Beirut from 1994 to 1998.

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served as Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the Directorate of Consular Affairs from 1983 to 1986, and as a Counselor of Foreign Affairs at the Directorate General of Arab countries from 1990 to 1994 and at the Directorate of Legal Affairs from 1998 to 2001.    

Besides Arabic, he speaks two foreign languages: French and English.
